I just posted my firsts cooking segment on YouTube. I am doing an entire series on CHICKEN BREASTS. I have noticed hat they are on sale almost every week at one major market or the other.

There are so many elegant ways to make them. My first segment is about Chicken Marsala.

I filmed a second one about CHICKEN PICATTA, but we could not upload it. YouTube said it was too big, so we will film it again.

I am trying to keep everything very simple. My daughter is filming the segments on her smart phone. There are no hairdressers, or make up artists. No frills, just plain old honest cooking. I have found a way to give back a little bit through food. I hope some of these segments make you laugh and inspire you to just take it one day at a time and just cook. It is a great stress reliever if  you just learn enjoy the experience. So let those creative juices flow. Hey, if I can do it so can you.

It is fun being on YouTube because I can tell you which products I really prefer, where to shop and where I think the best deals are. I am not getting paid to do this and I am not getting paid to endorse products. I just want to give something back in the way of food,  because we all have to eat, and face it, in these hard economic times, it is just fun to set a nice meal on the  table for our family and friends.

My two sisters lost their jobs. We try to get togther and cook up a storm. We laugh, we cry, we dance around the kitchen. It makes us feel  good. Even an occasional tear, but it helps that we try to stick it out together. It is important in these difficult times to understand the  real “heart of cooking.”

And, please don’t give up even though times are tough. I know thatit  is hard to do when every 7th American is struggling with hunger.  Maybe together we can all make a difference. I intend to try.

Sorry I have been away for awhile working on new projects.

I am working on a new Internet cooking show. It will include other top cooking celebrities and will introduce a brand new technology for the viewer who loves every aspect of the kitchen and food.

I am also going to begin posting excerpts of my cooking recipes on YouTube. I want to bring the viewers to a new kind of cooking show where we can FOOD CHAT after and you can tell me what you like to make and would like to see.

Most important of all, in  these hard economic times, I want to bring you gourmet food you can actually afford to make, and I want the preparation to be simple and fun. Some fans have told me that they are tired of seeing cooking shows where stars stand in beautiful kitchens with all the expensive appliances,  cooking with top name pots and pans that are totally unaffordable to them. Some people don’t even try to make the recipes they see on TV becasue they are afraid they will not turn out with the equipment that they have.

Let me just tell you something. You don’t need a million dollar kitchen to make a million dollar meal. I am up in the mountains right now and you should see my kitchen in this old cabin. Only one electric oven, and pots and pans, some of which are older than I am, but still turn out gourmet meals that have my friends and family coming back for more.

I really am excited about being on YOU TUBE and the Interent because you can finally see the products I really use and I can actually tell you where I shop. I can’t do that on regular TV. If you endorse any products you are usually getting very BIG BUCKS to do so, and many times they are not the actual products you prefer to use at home.

Let’s get honest. Let’s get real. And let’s get cooking!
